Megyn Kelly Criticizes ‘Woke’ Super Bowl For Featuring Black National Anthem
The media personality, Megyn Kelly, recently expressed her disapproval towards the Super Bowl’s “woke” stance for featuring the Black National Anthem before the game on Sunday night.
Speaking on her podcast, Kelly shared her views, stating, “It wasn’t as bad as in previous years, but it was an annoyingly woke Super Bowl.” She questioned the need for an all-female flyover and sarcastically remarked on how Fox hyped it up. “Oh, okay. All right. Thank you for reminding me that women can be pilots. I didn’t know that,” she added.
Additionally, Kelly raised concerns about the performance of the Black National Anthem by Sheryl Lee Ralph, deeming it divisive. In her opinion, having a separate anthem for a specific racial group only creates unnecessary divisions in a country already unified under one national anthem.
The criticism didn’t stop there, as Kelly called out the Super Bowl commercials featuring “left-wing” celebrities. She mentioned figures like Amy Schumer and Ben Affleck, highlighting Affleck’s previous comments on refusing to act with Republicans openly.
In her stance, Kelly emphasized the importance of unity and the belief that there is no need to divide the nation based on political affiliations or racial lines during a unifying event like the Super Bowl.
