Greg Gutfeld, widely recognized as the co-host of ‘The Five’ and the comedic personality behind a late-night show on Fox News, has recently inked a contract extension, solidifying his ongoing affiliation with the network for the foreseeable future.
According to reports from Variety, Gutfeld has sealed a fresh five-year deal, garnering praise from Fox executives for his outstanding talents.
“Greg is an authentic voice whose blend of political insight, cultural commentary, and comedic flair has deeply resonated with our audience for more than 17 years,” said Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott.
Continuing, she emphasized, “Since the launch of ‘Gutfeld!’ three years ago, he has swiftly disrupted the late-night landscape, emerging as the most-watched host in the genre. His show consistently outperforms other late-night programs in terms of viewership. We are privileged to continue hosting Greg and his unparalleled analysis , securing the legacy of late-night’s premier program for years to come.”
Additionally, Gutfeld will broaden his role by hosting and producing content for Fox’s streaming platform, Fox Nation.
Gutfeld’s journey with Fox News began in 2007 when he helmed the late-night program “Red Eye,” airing at 2 am. Subsequently, he transitioned to becoming a regular co-host on “The Five,” where he fostered a dynamic connection with fellow co-host Dana Perino.
Throughout his tenure, Gutfeld has engaged in lively debates with the show’s liberal commentators, including Geraldo Rivera, Juan Williams, and Jessica Tarlov, contributing to several of the program’s standout moments.
