Delicious Homemade Golden Cake Recipe from Mama Jackie’s Kitchen
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk
10 tablespoons of butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 – 2 cups of sugar
2 1/4 cups of flour
2 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Instructions:
In a saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a boil until the butter is fully melted.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs for about 5 minutes until they become fluffy. Add the sugar and continue whisking until the mixture becomes pale yellow and thickened.
Sift the flour and baking powder into the egg mixture, then mix roughly. Add the vanilla essence and blend everything together using a hand blender.
Slowly pour the boiled milk into the batter and mix well using a spatula. Make sure to release any trapped air bubbles by tapping the baking tin gently.
Grease a baking tin to prevent sticking, then pour the batter into it.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake the cake for approximately 30 minutes or until it turns a beautiful golden brown.
Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before serving.
