Dressed in her uniform with her bag slung over her shoulder, Jessica made her way down the narrow aisle towards the back of the plane. Her boarding pass indicated she was seated in 31-B, so she had a bit of a journey ahead before reaching her seat. As soon as she stepped onto the aircraft, her eyes wandered to the spacious and comfortable business class seats, a luxury she could only dream of affording.
Unbeknownst to Jessica, as she searched for her designated seat, a discreet conversation was unfolding between a passenger and the flight attendant, yet she remained oblivious to it all. She maneuvered her belongings until she finally reached row 31, stowed her shoulder bag in the overhead compartment, and settled into her seat. However, minutes ticked by, turning into a quarter-hour, then a half-hour, and still, the plane showed no signs of departure.
