Milana Vayntrub began her acting career in 1995 with a guest appearance in three episodes of the NBC series ER. Alongside Stevie Nelson, she co-founded the YouTube comedy channel Live Prude Girls, which gained popularity and secured the 93rd spot on NewMediaRockstars’ Top 100 Channels countdown.
Throughout her career, Vayntrub has taken on various roles in film and television, including projects like Life Happens and Silicon Valley. She has also appeared in comedy videos on CollegeHumor.
From 2013 to 2016, Vayntrub portrayed Lily Adams, a saleswoman, in AT&T TV commercials, returning to the role in 2020. Additionally, she played Tina Shukshin as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen series Other Space in 2015, created by Paul Feig. The following year, she appeared in Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot alongside other Space cast members.
Between 2016 and 2017, Vayntrub appeared in the television series This Is Us as Sloane Sandburg. In July 2017, she was cast as Marvel Comics superheroine Squirrel Girl in the New Warriors television pilot for Freeform. Despite the series not moving forward, Vayntrub voiced Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise and starred in a Marvel and Sirius XM scripted podcast titled Marvel’s Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show.
Also in 2017, Vayntrub starred in the Eko interactive streaming series That Moment When as Jill.
