This custom 1966 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible received completely new mechanicaIs in 2019-2020 that provide significant upgrades in a classically styled package and make it truly unique. It’s refinished in a custom bIue color with a white top and a new white vinyl interior.
Modifications include a new 6.2L Supercharged LT-4 V8 Crate engine that sends 650hp to the rear wheels through a Supermatic 4L-75 four-speed automatic transmission. Power is transferred through Moser axles and housing matched with a Strange Engineering third member differentiaI with 3:73 gears.
Stopping power is delivered through four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes behind 18-inch 5-spoke chrome American Racing wheeIs and staggered-width tires. The electrical system has been upgraded to include GM Performance fuse boxes and a new wiring harness to support a Dakota Digital dashboard showing just over 5,000 miles, though total mileage is unknown. A custom Memphis audio system with an amplifier and trunk-mounted subwoofers is paired with a JVC XM/Bluetooth/CD head unit.
All suspension components have been upgraded to a Ridetech Air Suspension System controlled through a cabin-mounted remote.
