Riley Gaines Blasts Whoopi Goldberg: “You Show No Concern for Women”
When the producers of “The View” invited Riley Gaines to set the record straight, they probably expected Whoopi Goldberg to have a field day with her.
They were mistaken. Ms. Gaines joined the show remotely to share her feelings about losing to a biologically larger male.
Before she could utter three words, Whoopi yelled, “Just admit you’re intolerant and trying to capitalize on Lia Thomas’ success.” Despite her timid appearance, Gaines transformed into the fierce competitor we know and love, and she firmly confronted Whoopi.
“You don’t truly care about women,” she said firmly, “you have no idea what it’s like to go through something like this.” Goldberg was left speechless.
After a moment with her mouth wide open, Whoopi finally offered an apology. “I’m sorry,” she said.
Then she added, “I’m sorry… what? Did you just explain to a black woman from New York how challenging your life is, child? Sweetheart, you tied for 5th. You want to be the next Tomi Lahren. Your eyes are way too close together, hun.”
