Brad Paisley “Nails” The National Anthem As He Opens The 2024 MLB World Series
Right now, baseball fans are keyed in on the 2024 World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees will battle it out for the first time in post-season play since 1981. The teams have met up for the World Series 12 times, more than any two teams in Major League Baseball history. Historically, the Yankees ended on top during eight of those matches. But the Dodgers want to change things in 2024. Every MLB game begins with a rendition of the national anthem. The World Series is no different, and for the first game of the 2024 series, Brad Paisley nailed it in Los Angeles.

Brad Paisley’s National Anthem Brought Tears To Many People’s Eyes
Brad took the field with his guitar and a blue plaid flannel. He’s a die-hard Dodgers fan, so he wanted to ensure he did justice to his team and the anthem. Ahead of his performance, he told Fox News Digital he had a few butterflies leading up to the big night.
“Most of the time, I do pretty well and don’t get nervous for things that I’m doing,” Brad Paisley said of his national anthem performance.” I really kind of just get into the moment. I don’t know, maybe I’m dumb. Tonight might be different, but right now I feel fine. I’m just excited to do this.
He added he’d thought about the performance potentially going viral. “Oh yeah, you do. You totally think about the viral possibility, but anything viral on the national anthem is not usually good. The best you can hope for is this is like relegated to the back page of YouTube quickly and that there are five home runs tonight.”
Brad Paisley’s national anthem hit all the right notes, and fans loved it.
“Brad Paisley is indeed a true Dodger fan and a future Country Music Hall of Famer. Let’s Go Dodgers!! Win this thing for Fernando Valenzuela and Toby Keith, who was also a huge Dodger fan we lost in February,” a fan shared on YouTube.
Many agreed. Like this fan, “Outstanding American National Anthem!! There is Only ONE!!!!!”
Brad might have brought good luck to his team. The Dodgers took game one and will play game two of the 2024 World Series on October 27 in LA.
